Jason Broadhurst: Los Campesinos! @ Manchester Academy 3 – 26/03/2012
The Manchester Academy 3 is a notoriously bad venue for any photographer to shoot at with terrible lighting and no photo pit but i was fairly happy with how my shots came out.

This was the first time I’d photographed at The Peel in Kingston in a long time so was quite excited to be going back, as it’s a good venue.
However, completely forgot the fact that it had been recently painted completely white!
Wasn’t too keen on the outcome of my shots at first, but then got quite into it and by the end of the show, it had really grown on me.
Despite there not being a very big crowd at all, it was still a really good gig.
Especially enjoyed Ursa Major and GIANTS; both so passionate and exciting to watch which obviously made it so easy to shoot as each member gave me something different to look out for!

Tom Spray: The Glass Kites
It feels like a long time since I’ve been active on this blog. Basically I’ve been busy but with a bunch of stuff I’ve had to keep on the down low. Anyway, a few weeks back I was shooting up coming pop/rock band The Glass Kites on a cold/wet weekend in Copenhagen. This shot is from the warmth of the studio.
