Childish Gambino is the rap name of actor, comedian and writer Donald Glover. His debut album, Camp, received mixed reviews (I thought it was really good) and on Wednesday night he made the trip to the UK as part of his first European ‘tour’ to play the rather appropriately named, CAMP (or City Arts Music Project) in east London. The show had sold out months in advance as had his show at the same venue the following night. In the US he’s already selling out much larger venues so this was a really special chance to catch the rapper for such an intimate performance.
It was so good I just wish I could’ve stayed for more of the show…
