Jordan Curtis Hughes – Alive & Kickin’ – Enter Shikari, Birmingham O2 Academy 2011.
It’s become quite clear that since I’ve joined this blog a lot of us get the same shows but just in our local cities. All good fun. Here’s my turn for Enter Shikari.
I photographed Enter Shikari last Saturday with Your Demise & Letlive (who I missed photographing when I was at Leeds Festival) supporting.
Letlive. – good to photograph – loads of energy, decent lighting and a full three songs to get the photos.
Your Demise – really hard to shoot – barely any lighting + loads of movement = a few good shots.
Enter Shikari – decent to shoot – unfortunately we had to be kicked out of the pit after one song because the pit got a bit crazy. Was still good to shoot though with decent lighting!
Here are the small versions of the photographs taken from the night:
This was shot for www.brumlive.com – a great blog to see reviews/photographs of gigs in the Midlands!

Jordan Curtis Hughes – Alive & Kickin’ – THE SUBWAYS, Birmingham O2 Academy 2011.
I photographed The Subways last night at the O2 Academy in Birmingham.
They were good fun to shoot!
This is hopefully the last gig I have to shoot with my back-up camera as my D700 is coming back from repair next week.
Check out the photos below!

Jordan Curtis Hughes – Alive & Kickin’ – OWL CITY, Birmingham HMV Institute 2011.
I’m currently working for a great website that covers all music in the Midlands which is called Birmingham Live!
I recently joined the team and this show was about the 4th show I’d shot for them.
My main camera had broke just after Leeds Festival so tonight I had to use a back-up camera and learn how to use the camera about 10 minutes before the support band come on.
Rock ‘n’ roll and all that, ha!
Anyway. Here are the pictures:
