It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on here as I’ve been travelling for the past 7 months. It’s good to be back and shooting live music again. I’m moving down to London next month so if anybody is based there it’d be sweet to meet up as I know very few people down in the city!
Anyway, I spent the day with punk rock band Sharks at GuilFest shooting for Rock Sound’s website. They’re all real good friends and great musicians. Here are some of the pictures from the day.

Up until the end of December I’ll be shooting all the bands/singers/rappers below.

After December I’m going traveling for 12 months in Australia, South America & North America so my band photographs will be few and far between although a travel blog will be set up somewhere!
I’m currently working for a great website that covers all music in the Midlands which is called Birmingham Live!
I recently joined the team and this show was about the 4th show I’d shot for them.
My main camera had broke just after Leeds Festival so tonight I had to use a back-up camera and learn how to use the camera about 10 minutes before the support band come on.
Rock ‘n’ roll and all that, ha!
Anyway. Here are the pictures:
Good friends of mine ‘Sharks’ were asked to play the Lock Up stage at Reading/Leeds Festivals. They had just got back from a lengthy tour in America that involved a support slot for Social Distortion and featuring on nearly every date of the Vans Warped Tour.
After doing many photo shoot favors for the band their manager got in touch and before I knew it I was confirmed to be photographing the Lock Up stage at Leeds Festival.
This was to be my first festival experience of any kind. Other than muddy, cold and tiring it was a great day and I hope many more festival experiences come my way.
Rock Sound did an online gallery of their favorite photographs that I took backstage when the Sharks lads were preparing for their Leeds Festival debut (see link at the bottom of this post).
